Embroidery
Embroidery is the general term for various decorative patterns embroidered on fabric by needle and thread. There are two kinds of embroidery: silk embroidery and feather embroidery. It is a decorative fabric that uses a needle to puncture silk or other fibers and yarns with certain patterns and colors on the embroidery material to form a pattern of embroidery. It is the art of using needle and thread to add human designs and fabrications to any fabric that exists. Embroidery is one of the traditional Chinese folk crafts, which has a history of at least two or three thousand years in China. There are four main categories of Chinese embroidery: Suzhou embroidery, Hunan embroidery, Sichuan embroidery and Guangdong embroidery. The techniques of embroidery are: cross-stitch embroidery, random stitch embroidery, net embroidery, embroidery all over the ground, locking silk, silk, brocade, flat gold, shadow gold, pan gold, velvet laying, shaving, poke yarn, thread, cross-stitch, etc. The uses of embroidery mainly include life and art decoration, such as clothing, bed linen, tablecloth, stage, art decoration.
