With the implementation of the "Belt and Road" strategy, China's textile industry is entering a new stage of globalization, and overseas investment shows a multi-regional, multi-industry and multi-form acceleration trend. Up to now, Chinese enterprises have set up more than 2,600 textile and garment production and trading enterprises overseas, distributed in more than 100 countries and regions. The textile industry is a pillar industry of our national economy and an important livelihood industry, with strong competitive advantages. In May this year, The State Council officially issued the "Made in China 2025", which clearly proposed to promote the process of textile intelligent manufacturing, accelerate the research and development and application of new textile materials, and strengthen the basic capacity of the textile industry, which boosted confidence and pointed out the direction for China's construction of a textile power. Since 2015, in order to crack the foreign trade dilemma of declining exports, "Internet + domestic sales" has become an effective path for the silk industry to expand sales. In November 2014, during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, the "new Chinese clothing" independently developed and produced by Wujiang Silk enterprises made an amazing appearance and attracted much attention. China continues to strengthen its advantages in the field of global conventional fiber production ****. In 2014, the output of chemical fiber accounted for 70% of the world's total. At present, the United States, Japan and other major chemical fiber producing countries actively promote the research and development of aramid, carbon fiber and other technologies, new chemical fiber research and development and natural fiber upgrading has become a new trend in the development of the industry. Since 2015, China has made breakthroughs in the research and development of new chemical fiber products, and the research and development level of new chemical fiber products such as ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene has been significantly improved, shortening the gap with developed countries for nearly 30 years.
